my dad leaves for new mexico tomorrow. he's going to uh..."help the native americans". i'm not sure what that means. but bully for him if that's what makes him happy. big sigh because i'm seriously uncool and get excited when i have time to read and sew. and i tried on this dress yesterday. this black and white retro thing, retail $59.99. but i found a pattern at work today McCall's # 3546 that looks a lot like it and i also found some black and white michael miller fabric. so i'm going to scrounge some money and buy it tomorrow. oh yes estimated cost of homemade retro dress: $12.50. i just get off on being cheap ya know. ok i'm gonna go read now. good night.
