waiting it out

crouching on the kitchen floor, fascinated by the faded white italian tile. there is a brown mark in the left corner that resembles a bear. i am still. the dogs are both asleep. and something is moving in here. on the floor. maybe its the tiny bear on the tile. don't move girl. don't wake up the bear. snoring. breathing heavy. be very still.
