we finally have heat!

the snow is beautiful and we have a new furnace just in time. i think the snow this year has been super extra pretty. the furnace men came at 7 am yesterday. the tiny furnace closet is in my tiny room of course. i answered the door in a blanket- i wasn't expecting them. I asked if they were going to be loud and they grumbled "yes" in unison. i attempted to sleep through the noise. yeah. so i ended up getting back to sleep, but i had a series of odd dreams about the furnace men. and in the dreams people would speak but only big furnace building noises came out when they opened their mouths. so...

leah thinks that because we have heat now she can sit around in her skivvies. personally i am not quite that warm. but it is hella cozy in here. i am sleepy like a banshee.
