baby AIDS

this morning, as i listened to my doctor describe how mono attacked the body, he suggested that i think of mono as baby AIDS. "they're really quite similar," he said, "AIDS and mono."

well so it took me a really long time to find out i actually have mono. so i apologize to anyone that i might possibly have given it to. i'm sorry. the doctor gave me brownie points for not missing any school or work. i accepted the brownie points gracefully. but i'd rather not think of mono as baby AIDS.
