i accepted a position with americorps in denver. i start january 3rd so i suppose i'll have to leave right after christmas. i'm pretty darn excited to be leaving ohio and heading west. mary will really like it out there. she had an ear infection this week but she is feeling better now.

the city is tearing down my elementary school. i'm sad every time i drive by there. it's gutted now, just a skeleton of wilson elementary. they sent us a letter saying we could come pick up a "memory brick" during construction. maybe i'll do that.

and the boyscout-mobile is dying. she's definitely on her last leg. it is only a matter of time now.
